BDB AND SCHOOL DISTRICT SHOWCASE HEALTHCARE AND LIFE SCIENCE TO STUDENTS

Hundreds of Palm Beach County Public School high school students had an opportunity to learn about careers in Palm Beach County at the Business Development Board’s  and School District of Palm Beach County’s “Claim Your Future Showcase” on February 7 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

The BDB worked with the School District to bring together high schools and local companies so that students could learn about career paths and the possibilities that are open to them as the county continues to attract more employers.

The daylong event featured a series of panel discussions with Palm Beach County business leaders from a wide range of industries, including healthcare and life science.

The healthcare panel included experts from JFK Medical Center and Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
